Hello friends, I was planning to go to NEPAL via Heathrow Airport, LONDON and I have transit there about 9 hours. I have a valid F1 visa. My friends tell me that it is a hassle to travel without transit visa in UK. So my question is - Is it necessary to have a transit visa? Share some information please!! thanks in advance!!

No, you dont need transit visa to go to Nepal via london if you have avalid F1 visa. I went the same route in 2007 and no problem what so ever !!!

You dont have to bypass immigration , so it should not be a problem. But make sure the connecting flight also departs from Heathrow (not Gatwick) ..
