Hello there, I am currently employed by a federal contractor as a meteorologist. I am recently changed to H1B from OPT. My company did e-verification and got tentative non-confirmation result. It showed immigration information mismatch with DHS. I have contested to resolve the issue but am not sure. If it comes out to be non-confirmation next time, i will loose the job and will be in deep problem with my status. If anyone has gone thru similar situation and have some ideas to share, i will greatly appreciate. ...looking for your valuable suggestions...thank you.

You mean verification through FBI (DHS) ? Yes I had same issue long ago, they even try to verify each and evey friends of your circle. So, be really careful while giving their name, Phone # and addresses to get your referece from them. Goodluck
