Guyz,

My F1-VISA is going to expires in 2 months, i.e. May 1st. Can I visit Nepal and return with 15 days remaining in my VISA.

Also, can I renew my VISA while in Nepal?
Any past experience will be appreciated.

Good Night!

You can return back on the very day that your visa is set to expire on.

if you would be student while you return then it should be fine to re-enter in to the US (valid I-20 needed).
however upto my knowledge, there is nothing like "renewing the visa". if you still have visa, i believe they "won't renew" ur visa as u still have visa to re-enter the US. if you're still in nepal while ur visa expires, then you have to apply for visa again- but not renew.
