 Changing IT consulting company

 Hello IT people!

I am with this consulting company, even did a project with them.
Now I am back in the bench and I really dont like the way they are marketing my profile. Also, I have been job less  for 2 months now.
Everytime I clear the interview, they come up with some problem and the real problem seems the rate part. They want too much from the company and company is not ready to pay that. On the end, I am job less and lossing my time.

I am thinking on moving on and finding me a new consulting firm just for marketing..tara what are the things i should be wary of? and can there be any problem because of contract ?

ramaili mela,
i was  in the same position at one point of time, but i couldnot think of doing it coz my employer was not running my payroll while i was on bench. So in my understanding , as a part of h1b transfer, you need to submit your latest paystubs to the USCIS.  If you file a complaint or sth, they might terminate your h1b , and u will be in trouble. so the best thing i would suggest is to wait till you land a project and transfer to another company at the earliest convenience.
