Jomsom Nepal. Nepali private investors spent 9 millions of dollar to built Jomsom Wind Power Terminal. One of the largest projects of Nepal will be ready for use from April 2009. The first section of the project with 112 wind terminal is ready for from April and the remaining two third will be completed by the end of December this year. Total capacity of 554 MW electricity will be produced from wind power, enough for almost half of the total energy demand in Nepal. With the help of Nepal Development Bank and Asian Development Bank two more such projects are on the way. Nepalnews.com
