Hi Sajha Lawers/users.. I did a freelance job for a client and it has been about 2 months, I haven't got any money from him. He always makes some excuses. After a little research, I found out that he owes money to lots of other people as well. I have all the proofs (emails and voice mail) where he agrees to pay the amount when the job is done....

What is your legal status? First question starts from here. Go to small claim court, you have to pay 30-50 dollars to file it. You should have enough evidence to prove he did not pay you timely. Once you win court will direct your defendant to pay the legal fees along with your unpaid remuneration.
