Wanted to push this thread up...what's happening folks?
may this song wake you all up! :-). there are very few songs that come to its coterie when we talk about a rare combination of "lyrical melody", great voice and some soothing music :-). thanks to my father for listening to it for me. Didn't know then, I would love it listening to it after a decade :-).
Arguably one of the most melodious songs of the 90s in the entire Bollywood-sphere (if you will ) was sung by a Nepali. Hats off to him!! It's not an easy task for anyone to accomplish it without being talented, dedicated, patient (to overcome prejudice in a foreignland since the degree of artistic excellence in this field itself is kinda subjective unlike for example in sports where you can keep discrete scores which is most cases is undisputable ) and little innately gifted. I can find a lot of video parodies of the song but not the original. Hence, only the audio version of the original song is here now.

yeah i think he is raj kiran, khabardar! i have seen that movie -arth. i think it's one of the most beautifully made movies in indian cinema. a powerful women-oriented film with some breathtaking performances...
