CNN has replaced Pawling resident Soledad O'Brien and Miles O’Brien, co-anchors of “American Morning,†according to a report by McClatchy-Tribune. Both are expected to stay at CNN. Their replacements will be CNN’s John Roberts, 50, a Canadian CBS alum, and Nepal-born Kiran Chetry, 32, recently hired from Fox News Channel. Soledad O'Brien, 40, and Miles O'Brien, 47, who are not related, debuted on “Morning†in June 2005. The change is being attributed to sinking ratings. Soledad O'Brien spoke at a fundraiser for Hurricane Katrina victims in December at the Bonefish Grill in Poughkeepsie.
