Hi guys,


I am using another state Driver license now I wanna change into TX. Last time I went to change it she said bring ss and pasport. I have ss and pasport but my visa has been finished. Can I steel change my Driver License? Will they ask (check) status??


Please give me your kind suggestion.

My friends applied in person (license renewal) and they were asked for I-20 and passport. After they were approved, they were given 1 year driving license with "Visitor" stamped on it.

I know lots of people with same problem.

I applied it online, took me about 5 minute, and last week I received my new license valid until 2016, without any special restriction on it. So I recommend to do it online.

I hope this will help student like me.

thank you sajha fan for suggestion. Still some problems for me, I am not student. I came here for temperory working visa and got ss. To change the Drivers license I should present there with ss and Pasport, I can't do it online.
